Diana Brownstone was born in New York City and is a true triple threat. As a young ballerina in training, she danced with New York City Ballet in repertory. At thirteen she was awarded a scholarship to American Ballet Theatre while she attended the High School of The Performing Arts, aka the “FAME’ school. She also was a principal dancer in that movie. Diana danced with ABT’s touring company, The Feld Ballet, and danced numerous guest artist roles around the country and with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet. Diana studied classical theatre and Shakespeare with the founding director of the New York Shakespeare Festival, Joel Friedman and also studied with Bobby Lewis. Diana performed Stand Up at The Comic Strip Live and Comedy Improv at TheatreSports NY as well as with her own group “Skitmarks”.

Diana went on to sing and dance in numerous Broadway shows including Hal Prince’s “Parade” (original Broadway cast), “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” (original Broadway revival cast), and “Hal Prince’s “Candide” (original Broadway revival cast). She also has appeared on television on the Tony Awards and on Irving Berlin’s 100th Birthday Celebration at Carnegie Hall. Her film & TV credits include: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Knick, Kate and Leopold, The Sopranos, Blue in the Face, The Nanny Diaries, Howard Stern’s Private Parts, Law and Order, and The Meredith Vieira Show. In addition to roles in numerous National tours and Regional productions, Diana has written and performed her own original comedy characters which you can see on this site. She is also working on her one-woman show.  Member AEA, SAG-AFTRA, AGMA.
